A jinbei (甚平) is a traditional Japanese two-piece summer outfit, made of lightweight cotton for breathability and comfort.  It includes a short-sleeved wrap-style top and a pair of matching shorts, tied at the sides for easy wearing. In Japan, jinbei are popular for summer festivals, home wear, or post-bath relaxation—especially for kids.
